The World Scholar’s Cup was held at Linden Hall High School on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30. This year, participants joined from not only Fukuoka, but also Kumamoto and Hiroshima, creating many opportunities for dialogue.

Taiki Ishibashi in grade 9 led the junior high and high school students in organizing and holding the event on a voluntary basis.

During the 2 days filled with laughter and learning, the organizers and participants made friends with students from other schools.

Some of the participants gained an interest in debate and are currently preparing for their next speaking opportunities. We look forward to hearing about their next triumphs in the Kyushu debate circles!
