On the first day, we visited Horyu-ji and Todai-ji Temples.
It was amazing to see the actual buildings and Buddhist statues that we had learned about in Japanese history classes.

On the second day, we enjoyed some independent learning activities in Kyoto city. In small groups, we visited the locations that we had researched beforehand, engaging in a variety of activities.

We shared what we had experienced during the day during dinner, which we ate with the rest of the class.

Tomorrow, we will continue to tour Kyoto in the morning and travel to Osaka in the afternoon.
