On Saturday, September 5, we held the 2nd Open School of the 2026 academic year. More than 50 prospective students and their families attended, including participants from Fukuoka as well as from other parts of Kyushu, the Kansai region, Tokyo, Australia, Malaysia, and other locations.
The event began with a welcome address by Vice Principal Kageyama,

followed by a school presentation by Mr. Mizota from the Admissions and Marketing Office.

Participants were then divided into two groups by grade level and took part in trial lessons, classroom observations, and guided campus tours.

Later in the program, Miss Kimura, who graduated from our school in 2024 and is currently studying Marine Biology at the University of Plymouth in the UK, shared her experiences of school life at Linden Hall High School and talked about classes and other experiences that influenced her decision about her current career path. Current students also gave a presentation on their environmental activities and answered questions from the participants.

Participants shared positive comments such as, “I was able to learn more about school life,” “I appreciated how carefully my individual questions were answered,” and “The school lunch was delicious.”
At our Open School events, participants can also take part in individual consultation sessions and, by request, tour the dormitories and sample our organic school lunch.

Our next Open School, to be held on Saturday, November 14, will be the final Open School of this academic year.
