IBDP Information Session by Recent Graduates

Jul 11, 2026

On Tuesday, July 7, our school held a special information session on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for all students, led by two recent graduates.

Mr. Tamura and Miss Chiba, who graduated from Linden Hall High School this spring, successfully completed the IBDP and have been accepted to overseas universities.

During the session, they shared practical advice based on their own experiences, including how students can begin preparing their English skills now (as the IBDP at our school is taught in English), what they recommend doing before starting the programme, how to choose IB subjects, effective study strategies, and information about merit-based scholarships. The presentation was followed by a question-and-answer session.

At the end of the session, they reflected on their experience in the IBDP, saying:

"The IBDP requires a high level of English proficiency and academic ability, but the programme is designed so that you gradually build those skills as you progress. It is a truly rewarding programme that broadens your perspectives, deepens your way of thinking, and helps you grow in many different ways."

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Tamura and Miss Chiba for returning to Linden Hall High School to share their valuable experiences and advice with our students.
