1st Open School of the 2026 Academic Year Held

Jul 8, 2026

On Saturday, July 4, we held the 1st Open School of the 2026 academic year. More than 50 prospective students and their families attended, including participants from our Elementary Division as well as visitors from Fukuoka, Shikoku, Tokyo, the United States, Malaysia, Vietnam, China, and other locations.

The event began with a welcome address by Vice Principal Kageyama,

followed by a school presentation by Mr. Mizota from the Admissions and Marketing Office.

Participants were then divided into two groups by grade level and took part in trial lessons, classroom observations, and guided campus tours.

Later in the program, Mr. Tamura, a recent graduate, shared her experiences at Linden Hall High School and spoke about her university pathway after graduation.

Current students also gave presentations on projects exploring Japanese history and culture, as well as their environmental initiatives,

followed by a question-and-answer session.

Participants shared many positive comments, including:

“I'm very glad I attended.”
“The event gave me a clear understanding of the school's educational philosophy and curriculum.”
“The graduates and current students were remarkably independent and confident.”
“The school lunch was delicious.”

Open School participants can also take part in individual consultation sessions, tour the dormitories, and enjoy a tasting of our organic school lunch on an optional basis.

Our next Open School will be held on Saturday, September 5.
