Miss Sakai, a Grade 12 student, achieved first place in the Intermediate Four-Hands Division at the 15th Hong Kong International Piano Competition. In recognition of this outstanding accomplishment, she was awarded the Cultural and Sports Award by the Fukuoka Private Junior and Senior High School Association.

Receiving this honor on the stage of a highly regarded international competition is a testament to her consistent dedication and sincere commitment to music.

She commented, “I am truly honored to receive the Governor’s Award, such a prestigious recognition. With the IB (International Baccalaureate) final examinations coming up in November, I will use this achievement as motivation to continue striving for excellence.”

In addition, our school was also presented with the Cultural and Sports Award in recognition of its educational achievements.
