On March 28, 2025, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck central Myanmar. This disaster caused the collapse of numerous buildings and led to significant loss of life. Relief efforts are still ongoing as communities continue to recover.
On April 12 and 13, students from Linden Hall Middle and High School joined a fundraising initiative alongside volunteer students from our affiliated institution, Japan University of Economics, including two international students from Myanmar.
The donations collected will be used to support relief activities in the affected areas. Funds will be delivered through Specially-appointed Professor Katsuyuki Imoto of Japan University of Economics, who has long been engaged in humanitarian work in Myanmar.
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the earthquake and sincerely hope that life returns to peace and normalcy soon.
Thank you very much for your generous support.
