Elementary, Junior and Senior High School alumnus, Reiki Ishibashi, and Principal Akika Tsuzuki paid a courtesy visit to Fukuoka Governor Hattori. Reiki Ishibashi, graduated from Linden Hall High School last March 2024, will be attending Cambridge University in the UK this autumn.

Ishibashi shared his experiences at Stanford e-Fukuoka, an intercultural education program run by Stanford University in the United States in collaboration with Fukuoka Prefecture and the U.S. Consulate in Fukuoka,
of which he was one of the first students to participate,
and his aspirations and future plans for attending Cambridge University.

Ishibashi's vision is to "create a better world through science and technology,"
and hopes to specialize in the field of "materials engineering" and work to solve climate change and environmental pollution.

Finishing the meeting, Governor Hattori encouraged the students to take home their learnings and skills from overseas to Fukuoka, Japan.
