Yuki Tanaka, a G10 student, and his teacher Risa Fukumura paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Chikushino City.

Linden Hall High School Grade 10 student Yuki Tanaka and his teacher Lisa Fukumura (Environmental Science) paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Chikushino City, Mr. Hirai, to report on their visit to the 10th World Water Forum held in Bali, Indonesia held last May 20-24, 2024.
Mr. Tanaka shared his experiences at the World Water Forum through a presentation he prepared in English. Him, along with his mentor Ms. Fukumura, answered questions from the mayor regarding global water issues and the participating countries.
Ms. Fukumura also utilized this time to share information about Linden Hall’s Environmental Science classes with the mayor.

When asked by the mayor about his dreams for the future, Mr. Tanaka said, “I would like to become an entrepreneur and continue water-related activities.”
