Mirai Tsuda Receives Ministry of Finance Chairman’s Award for Essay on Taxation

The award ceremony for the essay contest hosted by the National Taxation Agency was held at Linden Hall School on December 1 (Fri).

The essay contest received submissions from 6,457 schools (a total of 445,945 essays) around Japan. These essays were considered for several awards by top officials such as the Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs. “Living in Harmony with Major Rivers,” an essay on floods and tax funds by Linden Hall student Mirai Tsuda (grade 9) was selected for the Ministry of Finance Chairman's Award.
