The second day of summer camp was also full of fun and activities!

Mr. Bart started off the day with a biology lesson, and the camp participants interacted with the various plant and animal species in our English garden. During the laboratory portion of the lesson, students looked at specimens through a microscope and enjoyed pH level experiments.

Second period was history by Mr. Bailey. The campers created posters relating to their own personal histories and presented them in front of the others in English.

Today’s organic school lunch was “tendon”! Having already formed close bonds, the students enjoyed even more lively cafeteria conversations than yesterday.

During third period, Ms. Tohyama worked with the camp participants to prepare their presentations for the last camp day. The children created colouful posters with photos and practiced their speeches.

Fourth period was swimming by Ms. Eguchi. The campers loved cooling down in the pool.

Tomorrow will be the last day of summer camp, and the participants will be presenting what they have learned in the past couple of days!
