Summer Camp 2023 kicked off to a rousing start on Thursday, July 27. Participants included elementary school students from grade 3 through grade 6.

Grade 9 Linden Hall High School students opened the first day of summer camp with a presentation. The summer camp children were able to introduce themselves confidently one by one in front of the other students.

Mr. Bailey conducted an English language lesson for the camp participants during first period. Everybody competed for the delicious quiz prizes: chocolates, of course!

We ate an organic school lunch at the cafeteria together. Everybody enjoyed both the Salisbury steak and the mealtime conversation.

Second period was an art lesson by Mr. Dover. The camp participants contemplated surrealistic paintings and played Pictionary.

Ms. Tohyama held a Cooking in English class during third period. In small groups, the campers put together tuna or ham sandwiches as well as fruit salad.
