On Wednesday, July 15, students in Grades 7–10 held an International Festival, showcasing the cultures, traditions, and lifestyles of countries around the world.

*An English version will be available soon through the translation link included in the original article.
Preparation for the festival began in late May. Working in groups, students first discussed which country or region they wanted to explore.

Over the following weeks, they conducted research,

organized their findings, and created informative displays and presentations.

On the day of the festival, students from Grades 5 and 6 of Linden Hall Elementary School also visited the event.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of exhibits, including traditional clothing prepared by students with Vietnamese heritage, cultural artifacts from around the world displayed throughout the venue, presentations on different countries, and opportunities to experience traditional games from various cultures.

Students shared many positive reflections after the event:
"I enjoyed learning about countries I have never visited. I also discovered that neighboring countries often have similar food cultures." (Grade 8 Student)

"I learned about the four regions of Asia—East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia. It was interesting to discover how climate influences food culture." (Grade 8 Student)
"I'm glad I had the opportunity to learn about different cultures. I was especially impressed by the global influence of oil-exporting countries." (Grade 9 Student)

Every display and presentation reflected the students' creativity, teamwork, and dedication throughout the preparation process.
By exploring cultures beyond their own, students also gained new perspectives on Japan's culture and values. We hope this experience will inspire them to continue their journey of inquiry with greater curiosity and a broader global outlook.
We invite you to read the accompanying note article for more details about this exciting learning experience.
