Following this year’s Student Council election, our newly elected executive team has officially begun its activities.
Today, we are pleased to introduce the new members and share their thoughts on what makes Linden Hall School special and the kind of school they hope to create.
Student Council President – Miss Kimura (Grade 11)

What do you think is the greatest strength of Linden Hall School?
"I think one of Linden Hall's greatest strengths is that our students are open and welcoming to everyone. I especially like the atmosphere where students naturally interact across different grade levels."
What kind of school would you like to create?
"As our Student Council slogan for this year says, 'Co-create – A Free and Vibrant School,' I hope to build a school where each student's individuality becomes a strength that contributes to the whole community, and where everyone works together and supports one another."
Vice President – Mr. Fujimura (Grade 10)

What do you think is the greatest strength of Linden Hall School?
"What I like most about Linden Hall is the close relationship between teachers and students, which makes school a comfortable and supportive place to learn. I also appreciate the warm atmosphere during school events, where students from different grades work together and everyone can be themselves."
What kind of school would you like to create?
"I want to create a school where everyone can feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I also hope to provide more opportunities for students from different grades and classes to interact, while creating a school where every student's ideas and opinions are reflected in school life."
Secretary – Miss Kita (Grade 10)

What do you think is the greatest strength of Linden Hall School?
"What I like most about Linden Hall is the close relationship between students and teachers. We respect one another, and it is easy to ask questions or seek advice, which makes the school a very comfortable place to be."
What kind of school would you like to create?
"I want to help create a school where every student feels glad they chose to come to Linden Hall. School is about much more than studying—events and everyday school life are just as important. I hope to create an environment where every student can enjoy new experiences, take on challenges, and continue to grow."
During the interviews, the new Student Council members shared their enthusiasm, saying, "We want to actively share the activities of the Student Council and the many great things about Linden Hall School." Their passion and commitment made a strong impression on us.
We look forward to seeing each member make the most of their unique strengths as they work together to create an even better school community this year.
Our School note page also features additional interviews, including why each student decided to run for the Student Council and their messages to fellow Linden Hall students. The articles on our note page are also available in multiple languages (currently English only as of July 2026).
