17th Entrance Ceremony

Apr 15, 2026

On Sunday, April 12, under the gentle warmth of the spring sunshine, our school held its Entrance Ceremony and welcomed 22 new students.

Though appearing slightly nervous, each new student responded clearly as their name was called, taking their first step into a new chapter of school life.

During the ceremony, Principal Asuka Tsuzuki delivered a welcoming address, sharing her expectations for the students’ growth and encouraging them to approach their studies at Linden Hall School with purpose and commitment.

This was followed by warm congratulatory messages from Ms. Edamitsu, a member of the school’s first graduating class who is now working as a physician,

and from Helen King, Principal of St Anne’s College, University of Oxford.

The students listened attentively to their inspiring words.

During the New Student Pledge, Onizuka, speaking on behalf of the incoming class, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to attend the Entrance Ceremony and shared a strong sense of determination for the school life ahead. Harada, representing the current students, then offered a warm message of welcome.

Congratulations to all our new students on your admission.

We sincerely hope that your learning and experiences at our school will become truly meaningful and unforgettable.
