2021年4月11日(日)に、第12回入学式が挙行されました。
在校生代表として、名倉一葉さんから新入生に向けて歓迎の言葉を送りました。

歓迎の言葉

24名の新7年生の皆様、ご入学おめでとうございます。在校生を代表して歓迎の言葉を述べさせていただきます。

皆さん、今日はどのような思いで中高学部への坂を登ってこられたでしょうか。新しい出会いに胸の高鳴りを感じた人、見覚えのある友達の顔にほっとした人、また新たな1歩を踏み出し希望とほんの少しの不安を抱えている人。きっと、それぞれ違った思いを抱きながら今日という日を迎えたことと思います。中高学部は小学部と環境が大きく変わります。教科数も格段に増え、課題も多くなります。初めの頃は授業について行くのに必死かもしれません。5年前の私もそうでした。しかし、しっかりと目標を定め、地道にコツコツと努力すれば必ずこの6年間の学校生活は有意義なものとなります。分からないことがあれば沢山の先生方が親身になって教えてくださいます。もし、先生方に相談するのが難しければいつでも私たち先輩に頼ってきてください。私たちも、今まで先輩方に沢山助けられてきたように、皆さんのお手本となるようにリードしサポートできるよう尽力いたします。そして、24名の皆さんと沢山関わりを持ちながらより良い学校を一緒に作り上げていきましょう。

今は新型コロナウイルスの拡大によってできることは制限されていますが、自分のできる小さなことから一歩ずつ前に進んで行きましょう。限りある中高の6年間の学生生活が実り多き、価値あるものになることをお祈りし、お祝いの言葉とさせていただきます。

Congratulations on your entrance to Linden Hall High School.

On behalf of all the students at Linden Hall, I would like to adress my warmest congratulations to the 24 students of grade 7. How are you feeling right now? Maybe you are feeling excited about meeting new people,maybe you are felling a bit relieved about meeting some of your friends from elementary school,and some might be feeling a bit excited and worried about entering a new environment. I canremember myself 5 years ago, being in the same situation and feeling similar to you today. Youwill be in a completely different environment from when you were in elementary school. Thenumber of subjects will be hugely different and you will have lots of assignments to finish. It might just even be hard to get used to the all the classes.
However, if you have a clear goal andambition and work litlle by little, your 6 years at Linden Hall will be meanigful and fulfilling. If you have any concerns or doubts, feel free to ask the teachers. If you have some hesitation to ask the teachers, please ask us and we will always be happy to help you all out. As we were helped and guided by our seniors, we will do our best to support and lead you if you get lost. 6 years of school life will be gone in a flash. Please don’t be afraid to grab the chance in front of you and go challenge yourself to something new.
Even if you fail, you will become stronger. Only when you quit do you truly lose. There are lots of opportunities you can find at Linden Hall. However, it is up to you whether you will go grasp the chance in front of you or not.

Now, the coronavirus pandemic has restricted us and maybe you are not able to do what you want to do. However, there are little things you can do, so please try and challenge yourself and improve with small steps. I hope you will have a valuable 6 years and will fulfill you dreams.
