Apr 15, 2025

On the 6th of April (Sunday), 2025, Linden Hall High School celebrated its 16th Entrance Ceremony, welcoming 18 new students.

As part of the proceedings, after the new students had their names read aloud, school principal Asuka Tsuzuki gave an address, saying “at Linden Hall School, which follows the educational principle of Wakon Eisai, may you raise your awareness as Japanese people, and polish the skills and education needed to live in this age of VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity).” (paraphrased)

Representing visitors, a graduate of our third intake of students, and chairman of the alumni association, Mr. Aibe, gave a congratulatory address, stating “as you become able to use English, your world will expand greatly. May you have a fantastic 6 years at Linden Hall School, where you may ask yourself what you wish to do, and find the answers you see.” (paraphrased)

Afterwards, a celebratory video message sent by Director of Development of St. Anne’s College of Oxford University, Mr. Edwin Drummond, was shown to the attendees.

From the energetic new students, three representatives gave speeches, giving thanks for the ceremony and announcing their plans and determinations going forward, followed by words of welcome from the current students, represented by student council president Tamura.

To the new students, congratulations on your admission!
